Supply Chain Allows North American Honda Plants to Return to Near-Normal Production

Nearly every automaker worldwide has felt the aftershocks of the March 11th earthquake and tsunami disaster in Japan. Honda was no exception. However, Stephens Honda is happy to announce that outlook is positive and North American Honda Plants are scheduled to return to near-normal production levels this summer.
You might remember, in April, Honda cut production by about half, due to a huge margin between supply and demand. The company also advised dealers to expect model shortages and that production might not return to normal levels until the end of the year.
