2011 Initial Quality Study is Honda’s Personal Best

Stephens Honda thought you might be pleased to know that Honda achieved a new personal best in J.D. Powers and Associates Initial Quality StudySM for 2011. They are now ranked second for initial quality among all automakers. Perhaps more impressive, though, is that Honda leads the entire industry with the most highest-ranked individual segment leaders.

Here is a list of the leaders and their respective segments:

-           Honda Civic (compact car)
-          Honda Accord (midsize car)
-          Honda Element (compact crossover SUV)
-          Honda Accord Crosstour (midsize crossover SUV)
-          Honda Ridgeline (midsize pickup truck)
-          Honda Insight (hybrid)
  -          Honda Fit (subcompact car)

J.D. Powers and Associates Initial Quality StudySM 2011, however, isn't all about segment leaders and overall lineup. It also assesses different automakers' manufacturing facilities. Not surprisingly, Honda fared extremely well in this category as well, earning a Platinum Plant Quality Award, a Silver Plant Quality Award, and a Bronze Plant Quality Award. Only three Platinum Plant Quality Awards were given worldwide!
